WHAT WE DID

Partnered with My Little Pony and Prabal Gurung to launch a collaboration collection timed with the brands 40th anniversary. TAILWIND brought together these two icons to celebrate friendship, self expression and inclusivity with the goal of inspiring our youth to embrace themselves and accept their differences.

Timed with Back to School, the collection launched exclusively at Target, both in-store and online.

As part of the partnership, Prabal designed three couture runway looks to walk the runway during SS24 New York Fashion Week. The looks were inspired by the iconic elements, color palette, multi-generational fan base and the inclusive brand values embodied by My Little Pony. Prabal’s SS24 collection was a perfect representation of My Little Pony’s core values, drawing inspiration from his “East Meets west” theme of bringing together global cultures and embracing and accepting our differences.

ACTIVATION: My Little Pony x Prabal Gurung

  • TAILWIND engaged fashion designer Prabal Gurung based on shared brand values to design a My Little Pony kids collaboration collection & 3 Runway Looks which debuted at NYFW 

  • Produced NYC photo shoot and led content creation to promote the partnership 

  • Developed and activated campaign strategy with the goals of driving awareness, buzz, engagement and sell thru 

  • Amplified the partnership through earned media, paid media, social content on My Little Pony and Prabal’s channels 

  • Oversaw influencer seeding - activated influencer fashionista known as ‘mini Wintour’, Taylen Biggs to create styled looks and social content to amplify the collaboration across her highly engaged platforms
